Hey everyone, In this blog, I’m gonna share with you how I color grade images in Photoshop using camera raw file. The tool which I’m gonna use is Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshop is one of the best photo editing tools in the market currently. However to use Photoshop you need a lot of skills and learning to create perfection in your photos. You can check my other blog post for more information about photoshop and other photo editing tools. In the tutorial down below, I have shown you how to use each feature of Photoshop that you will basically need to color grade your image. Remember guys, Photoshop is a paid software published by Adobe. You can download a free trial from this link.

why color grading is important? Because we don’t live in a perfect world. The lights at the time of shoot do not behave necessarily as we want them. While shooting indoors or outdoors, photographers often encounter the problems of bad lighting. Sometimes the weather is outcast, foggy, cloudy and dull. It becomes difficult to edit the photos which are captured in bad lighting setup. Due to this reason, it is advised to use some artificial lighting, especially when shooting indoors. But the mix of natural and artificial light creates further complexity sometimes. So even after using artificial light arrangements, we just miss capturing that perfect shot we needed. Thus color grading becomes very important when editing the pictures. It gives the feel to a lifeless picture.
